Players are creating a beautiful arboretum for their visitors. Players commence with a hand of seven cards.
Each tree type is numbered 1-8 colours (tree types). During a turn, the player draws two cards, either from the draw deck or from the several discard piles. The player plays one card into their own arboretum and discards a card.
The game ends when the draw pile is depleted. For each colour, the player with the highest value of cards in hand of that colour scores for a path of trees in their arboretum that begins and ends with that colour (a path is an orthogonally adjacent chain of cards with increasing values). For each card in a path that scores, the player earns one point. If the path consists solely of trees of the colour being scored, the player scores two points per card. If a player doesn't have the most value for a colour, they will score zero points for a path that begins and ends with that colour. Whoever has the most points wins.
